Some mornings are easier than others right? I used to wake up having to drag my butt out of bed and feeling so foggy upstairs. It would take me at least 15 minutes to mentally feel on and ready to conquer the day. That was such a long time ago, but I know that struggle. It really sucks!   Then, things changed, or more accurately I made a change.  I began clean eating and incorporating superfoods into my diet.

Life has been greener, brighter and more awesome every single day since!

Our brains are about 3% of our body weight and yet demands about 25% of our energy.  That is quite a hungry hungry hippo! So how are you feeding it? Dead and processed food like bread, chips, pasta, burgers, fried anything, sugars, candy, and  fast food just doesn’t cut it. Those foods will actually age you faster and put you at a risk for early dementia, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.

Walnuts:

When you look at a walnut what  does it look like? A brain! Amazing how mother nature works her perfection and with walnuts you may ace those exams with more accuracy than ever. Walnuts are rich is ALA’s which increase blood flow thereby  keeping your circulation healthy and strong. More blood flowing to your brain means more essential nutrients get to your brain.
