These 5 symptoms could be a sign you are mineral deficient!

I believe in minerals.

Minerals are often overlooked by most medical doctors as they aren’t schooled in nutrition. But minerals are huge!

My current research is leading me to make bold statements about minerals and their role in healing the body and preventing it from disease in the first place. Re-mineralization needs to make a huge comeback both in the nutritional health scene and literally in your life.  Here is why:

  • Soil erosion is real and most of the food we eat is grown is depleted soil.
  • Most of the food we eat sits on trucks for days, weeks and possibly months at a time.
  • Commercial farming doesn’t rely on natural sources to re-minerlaize the land. They rely on chemical artificial fertilizers, and hormones to grow bigger crops and fatter livestock.

    Here are 5 signs you may be mineral deficient and don’t even know it!

1.Headaches and Lightheadedness :

Do you get headaches in the morning or more often than usual? Are you feeling dizzy even though you are hydrated, got enough sleep and just ate?  Recent studies have shown that mineral deficiencies can cause less oxygen reaching the brain because of poor circulation. Relieve this by taking a good mineral supplement like Shilajit, Fulvic acid, Concentrace, and lemon water. There are many others great superfoods rich in minerals as well such as Goji berries, Spirulina, Chlorella, Marine Phytoplankton, Chaga Mushroom, and Reishi Mushroom.

 

2. Dry skin, hair loss, and early signs of aging:

Minerals are needed for every process in your body.  Some are essential. This means you MUST get them from your daily diet. If your hair is falling out more than usual, if your skin is dry and flaky, and if you just see wrinkles and fine lines too soon than these are all possible indications of poor mineral consumption. PLEASE don’t ignore these seemingly benign symptoms. These are early signs you need to re-mineralize your body daily if you want great health, vitality and a long a life.

 

3. Joint pain, aches and stiffness

Joints, tendons, ligaments, bones and muscles all require adequate mineral intake to function, regenerate, and recover. If you are sweating and working out more,  you need more minerals because you are excreting more through your perspiration. A 2008 study published in the Journal of Applied Physiology, shows that body mineral status is an essential consideration in modulating the hormonal and metabolic responses to resistance exercise. Joint pain is often alleviated with mineral supplements such as MSM which is a sulphur containing compound that helps keep your joints lubricated and nourished.  Also Shilajit, bananas, Celtic and Himalayan salt are some foods that help you restore potassium, sodium and  your magnesium supply.

 

4. Fatigue, chronic tiredness and low stamina:

Do you often feel sick and tired? Fatigue is not a normal state of being. We are often told by our doctors that it’s ok and to “just get more rest” or take an anti depressant. The cause doesn’t get addressed and guess what you get- more tired!

Begin with cleaning up your diet, getting more whole foods into your body every day and supplementing with minerals such as Concentrace, coconut water and raw coconut flesh, goji berries, spirulina, chlorella and Shilajit. These are powerhouse nutrient dense foods that will energize and heal fatigue and low stamina disorders.

5. Poor sexual function:

If you are struggling with low libido, erectile dysfunction, vaginitis, or other sexual difficulties it may in part be a mineral deficiency problem.  Have your hormones checked by your health professional and also get blood, hair and saliva tests to detect any mineral deficiencies.  For men Zinc is a huge mineral for sexual stamina, and health overall.  It is vital for hundreds of processes in your body and helps balance out copper, and works synergistically with selenium. Minerals help blood circulation which is a big component to healthy orgasms, and blood flow to the genitals.
